There are moments in history when simply holding the line is not enough.

This is one of those moments.

Across the country, organizations, educators, businesses, nonprofits, public agencies, advocates, and community leaders who believe in diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging are facing unprecedented challenges. Programs are being dismantled. Funding is disappearing. Professionals are feeling isolated. Too many people who have dedicated their lives to building stronger, more inclusive communities are wondering where to turn next.

The Institute for Sustainable Diversity & Inclusion (ISDI) believes the answer is not retreat.

The answer is community.

That is why we are inviting you to join us for the public launch of the Community Coalition for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion, a bold new national community designed to bring together people who refuse to give up on the vision of a more just, accessible, welcoming, and inclusive society.

Our theme is simple.

RESIST!

Resist fear.

Resist division.

Resist isolation.

Resist the idea that the work of inclusion belongs to any one organization or any one movement.

Instead, let us build something stronger together.

The Community Coalition is more than another online group. It is a growing community of people committed to learning together, sharing practical resources, supporting one another, collaborating across sectors, and creating lasting change. Whether you work in business, government, education, nonprofits, healthcare, disability inclusion, racial justice, LGBTQ+ advocacy, veterans’ services, faith communities, or simply believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, you belong here.

During this special one-hour live event, you’ll learn why ISDI created the Coalition, how it works, what members receive, and how you can become one of our Founding Members as we begin this exciting journey together.

Ask Us Anything

One of the highlights of the event will be an interactive Ask Us Anything conversation.

This is your opportunity to ask candid questions about the Coalition, the future of DEIA work, accessibility, belonging, organizational change, community building, leadership, or anything else that’s on your mind.

We want this to be a genuine conversation, not simply a presentation.

Joining the discussion will be several of ISDI’s respected leaders and advisors:

Together, they bring decades of experience spanning corporate leadership, nonprofit management, disability inclusion, racial equity, accessibility, public policy, organizational development, philanthropy, and community engagement.

Whether you’re looking for practical ideas, encouragement, new partnerships, or simply hope for what comes next, this conversation is for you.

Who Should Attend?

This event is designed for:

  • Diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging professionals
  • Human resource and talent leaders
  • Corporate executives
  • Nonprofit leaders
  • Government employees
  • Educators
  • Disability advocates
  • Community organizers
  • Employee Resource Group leaders
  • Students and emerging leaders
  • Anyone who believes our communities are stronger when everyone belongs

Become a Founding Member

The launch also marks the opening of Founding Membership in the Community Coalition.

Founding Members will help shape the Coalition from the very beginning while gaining access to a growing network of leaders, resources, conversations, learning opportunities, and collaborative initiatives designed to strengthen inclusion across every sector.

The challenges before us are real.

But so is our collective capacity to meet them.

Now is the time to move beyond working in isolation.

Now is the time to build relationships that last.

Now is the time to create a community that supports one another through today’s challenges while imagining tomorrow’s possibilities.

Join us on Tuesday, August 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time, for an hour of inspiration, honest conversation, practical ideas, and community.

Bring your questions.

Bring your experiences.

Bring a colleague.

Bring a friend.

Most of all, bring your commitment to building a future where diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging continue to flourish.

Together, we will not simply respond to change.

Together, we will shape it.

RESIST. JOIN. BELONG. BUILD THE FUTURE

The Dr. Kirk Adams logo features two two overlapping arches, facing each other, one blue (smaller) and one black (larger), each resembling an arch or wave. Together the two shapes form a dynamic and modern design. The blue arch is set just inside the black arch, creating a sense of movement and progression. Below the arches, the name 'Dr. Kirk Adams' is displayed in bold black letters, with the tagline 'Leading the Way To Accessible Innovation' in smaller black text beneath. The design conveys themes of forward momentum, accessibility, and leadership in innovation. The overall look is sleek and professional.
